The Great Feast & Annual Celebration of The Sacred Patriarchal & Stavropegial Monastery of St. Irene Chrysovalantou, is quickly approaching !
This celebration attracts thousands of faithful every year to venerate the Miraculous Weeping Icon of the Saint. The feast brings to Astoria thousands of people from all over North America, to witness the lively presence of the Saint, and Her obvious and famous miracles.
Service of the Special Blessing of the Water for the beginning of the Feast & Vespers, officiated by His Excellency Metropolitan Paisios of Tyana.
H.E.Metropolitan Paisios Officiated at the Vespers Service, and Officially welcomed Bishop Athenagoras of Sinopi, who is the Official Representative of The Ecumenical Throne.
