Με πίστη και κατάνυξη συμμετείχαν οι πιστοί στο Μυστήριο του Μεγάλου Ευχελαίου το απόγευμα της Μεγάλης Τετάρτης στην Αγία Ειρήνη Χρυσοβαλάντου και αμέσως μετά παρακολούθησαν την Ακολουθία του Ιερού Νιπτήρος, κατά την οποία χοροστάτησε ο ηγουμενεύων της Ιεράς Πατριαρχικής και Σταυροπηγιακής Μονής Επίσκοπος Φιλομηλίου Ηλίας.

The Great Annual Feast

of St. Irene Chrysovalantou

July 23 - July 28, 2009



The Great Feast & Annual Celebration of The Sacred Patriarchal & Stavropegial Monastery of St. Irene Chrysovalantou, is quickly approaching !



This celebration attracts thousands of faithful every year to venerate the Miraculous Weeping Icon of the Saint. The feast brings to Astoria thousands of people from all over North America, to witness the lively presence of the Saint, and Her obvious and famous miracles.

The Service of the Special Blessing of the Water for the beginning of the Feast & Vespers, officiated by His Excellency Metropolitan Paisios of Tyana prior to the Vespers Service. After His Grace Bishop Vikentios of Apamia blessed all the workers and volunteers of the Festival.
